About Drew Radeker.

My name is Andrew Sims Radeker. I go by Drew. I have been licensed to practice law in South Carolina since 2005. Since that time, I have practiced with great lawyers at James C. Harrison, Jr., P.A., Harrison & Radeker, P.A., and Harrison, Radeker & Smith, P.A. I now operate Radeker Law, P.A. as a sole practitioner, concentrating on supporting the trial bar.

During my career, I have been fortunate to work on a wide variety of cases, from mortgage foreclosures to civil rights violations, dog bite cases to murder. I have had cases in magistrates’ and city courts, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of South Carolina, and the trial and appellate courts in between.

I have gotten to work with some truly great people, among them the late James C. Harrison, Jr., a brilliant, wise, kind, and honorable man, and Taylor M. Smith IV, an ardent defender of free speech and the press and a deeply principled, dedicated lawyer. I have also developed working relationships with a host of co-counsel, opposing counsel, and other fellow members of the bar.

I received a bachelor of arts degree in English from the College of Charleston in 2001 and a juris doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2005. I am admitted to practice before the state courts of South Carolina, the South Carolina federal district court, and the federal Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. I am a member of the South Carolina Association for Justice and served as the chair of the SCAJ real estate section for a few years.

I’ve been a presenter at continuing legal education seminars, including the Master-in-Equity Bench/Bar CLE several times.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and children, cooking on my barbecue pit, puttering in my vegetable garden, and being outdoors, especially in the mountains.
