You do you. Co-counsel services.

Appeals aren’t your thing. Your practice is something else – trial work, most likely. You’re busy. You don’t like appeals. You don’t like time-intensive research and writing. Or, maybe, you like them just fine, but you don’t have the time to do them and handle the rest of your practice.

That’s where I come in. I enjoy research and writing. I like appeals. I like motions practice. That led me to concentrate my focus where it is now: providing writing, research, and argument support to the trial bar, in trial and appellate courts.

As appellate co-counsel, I usually take the lead on the appeal – reviewing the record, researching the law, writing the briefs, and presenting oral argument to the appellate court. As trial-level co-counsel, I help with research, writing, and (if you want) arguing at hearings or trial. As post-judgment co-counsel, I guide the client through implementing collections strategies – or, in the case of a judgment against the client, through damage control and what options are available.

I am currently litigation counsel for Vitamin Energy, Inc. (https://vitaminenergy.com/). As a result, I am limiting the work I take on as lead counsel at the trial level. I am, however, continuing to take on new cases as lead counsel or secondary counsel on appeal or in post-judgment proceedings. I am also taking on selected new trial-level cases in which I serve as co-counsel.

I work primarily on flat-fee or contingent fee split arrangements. Chances are good that we can find a fee arrangement that works. Reach out. Let’s see if I can help free you up, so you can do what you do.

You do you. I’ll handle the appeal.
